Overhead Travelling Cleaner

An overhead travelling cleaner that keeps the working environment clean is fitted with a custom-made PLC. It includes all necessary OHTC functions and controls both drive motor and fan motor currents. Both drive and fan motor currents are measured through CT and processed digitally, making the system far more efficient compared to conventional bimetallic relays. All OHTC function statuses are indicated with a tricolor signal tower lamp, allowing fail-safe OHTC functions to be monitored effortlessly. The current setting is precise for the drive motor and fan motor which ensures accurate overload trip. Since motor current is measured precisely, the carbon brush wear-out can be detected easily, helping prevent frequent motor winding burnouts. A proximity sensor failure detection feature is also provided.
